Thoughts.......

Poor performance today, I've seen on another thread someone saying that this game and the one against Stoke were just as bad performances as when we were playing under Hodgson which cant really be argued with.

Positive note, Bellamy was amazing up until he got moved to another position (why do that?).

Andy Carrol for me is showing that he just isn't good enough each game he plays, my biggest worry about him is his work rate and his movement especially at set pieces. In relation to his work rate, i thought Berbatov looked lethargic when he played but Carrol is worse. I don't know what he thinks he is doing at corners especially, he needs to be central for corners and yet he always runs beyond either post, he isn't going to score from there. I really hope he proves me wrong, but i honestly really doubt that now.

Today was perhaps Enrique's worst performance for us he just couldn't get it right, but as he has been so good for most of the season you can afford him one off game, especially when everyone else played so bad as well.

Bolton won today and it was totally deserved, they won everything and had the determination to get the win more than us, only thing i could say in favour of Liverpool was that there were quite a few minor decisions that didn't go our way such as the Gerrard foul on the edge of the area that was given to Bolton. But other than that Bolton were just better.

We do need new players in, but as has been said, there's not many players we can realistically get at the minute, hopefully KK and Damien can find someone, i think our main problems are finishing and pace within the team.

Lets just hope the lads pick themselves up and go on to win our two important cup fixtures next week.
