Earlier on in the day Shaktar confirmed that we made a bid of €20 million which was rejected and said that €30 million will get him, I've seen a lot of fans moaning that his not worth €30 million, but we need a left winger like him as his quick and is a player that can change the game. If his signed we can play him on left and Mata more central in a 4-2-3-1 and his better than Malouda. Finally, €30 million is only £24 million which is good, okay his not on the level of Mata but a left winger is a MUST!.

I personally liked the chant the Chelsea fans started "are you spurs in disguise" was pretty witty. Was a good atmosphere in the ground, I was in the main stand right next to the players lounge so heard some good rumours as well- which I said on here which turned out to be a load of crap except the Lukaku signing.

People asking for a source, this is from the official Shakthar website. I've never seen such a clear cut response from a club in the middle of a negotiation, and frankly I'm shocked by it.

If he improves what we have then it is money well spent in my eyes, we haven't seen enough of him to know one way or the other so we gamble as we do with every player you sign....

He's a good player and the type that we need. He will definitely improve us too so i'm all for it. He's looked excellent in the CL too

Reading Shaktar´s official response I´d say this looks like it could be happening very soon.
Shaktar say they are willing to sell Wilian for 30 million Euros which is about 24-25 million quid.
I´d say that this deal is 90-95% going to happen.
