With arry being at the reebok with Joe Jordan I can't help thinking he was there to watch Mark Davies. I know some spurs players were there & they play city tomorrow but i think that could just be a cover to mask the fact he's checking Davies out. I don't know why coyle feels the need to sell him at the first available opportunity, he talked him up for performance at old trafford, fair enough. But to say after the game today during transfer window he could play for an elite team gets right on my nerves when a manager of a so called elite team is watching, he's only just starting to fulfil the potential we have all known he posseses all along. Let's have him as a Bolton player for at least a couple of seasons before you start trying to flog him

Arry was also at the Everton game. He's not watching us for the good of his health. I said yesterday that he was there to watch Davies.

He watched us against Everton because Spurs played Everton the following week.

Cahill played vs. Everton too, he'll have still been considering a deadline day swoop until he signed for Chelsea

Maybe Coyle talks Mavies up because he realises that's the way to boost the lads confidence? Any manager can watch any player he likes .... and let's face it ... many Bolton fans would have driven Mavies to any club who wanted him a couple of months ago, so let's not get too precious about it.
If he's on a long contract, and not for sale ...then all the watching in the world doesn't matter ....

Spurs can't afford him anyway.
