Premier league Striker on Loan...

So City are about to sign a Premier League striker on loan in time for tomorrows game at Southampton.....

No details on the name sadly but my 3 guesses would be Delfouneso from Villa, Cox from WBA or Ebanks-Blake from Wolves.

Having said that Steve Walsh snr does have great contacts and an eye for young talent so it might be a young fella we don't know much about.

Well let's hope he is spot on again! I don't think a striker is a major priority but even if it's enough to keep beckford firing it can only be a good thing

Rumours has it it´s Delfouneso, some say Jason Roberts ??? I´ll just trust NP & hope it´s a good signing.

I can imagine it is a player in the Delfonso/Roberts mould. Those types of strong, tall mobile strikers are very suited to the championship.

If we did sign that type of player, it would push one of Nugent or Beckford out wide or out of the the side!!!

Delfouneso will be the wide player to supply Beckford and Nugent but Nugents runs the channels well also....hope he's the answer to our severe lack of width.
