... as mentioned below (and worth repeating), in the last 3 games we've only got back into the game after one of the opposition players have been sent off. Not good enough.
At half-time yesterday, virtually the whole ground boo'd off the players, and deservedly so in my opinion. We were awful in the first half and the goalkeeper's sending off saved this game for us. Very lucky indeed. We can't expect this run of luck to continue and next time we face 11 players for the whole game, I think we're going to take one hell of a beating (i.e. as we did against Barnsley).
The club's in turmoil and someone needs to get hold of the situation otherwise it looks very serious for Leeds United FC.
3 points but ...

A continued run of luck is the best we can hope for right now.

What happened with airy 4ever?
If you want to keep a player at he club during negotiations is dropping him to accommodate a loanee (again) really the right thing to do?

Actually all around me everyone was boo'ing the fact that the referee blew as we were about to cross into their box

Jonty .... he just made a point of slowly walking to the kop and waving. Wasn't just me that spotted it, but several others around me. probably read too much into it - hope so.
We also watched for other players reactions, with all the speculation around some players we were checking to see if any would give clues.
Snoddy ..... came over to the East then Kop - but then often does.
Becchio - went straight down the tunnel. I'd be surprised if he knew he was leaving that he'd do that.
Clayton - didn't notice anything particularly different about him.

Cheers 4ever.
You never seem to see the players go to Grayson any more after crucial goal do you.

I thought the atmosphere yesterday was very poor. Sure the weather didn't help, but the performance on the pitch, the aggressive chants by the fans, £15 for two pints and two cheeseburgers (to contrast with just over £3 for two excellent pints in The Angel later that evening), the comments by those around me at the final whistle (basically, "we got away with it" ), the gaping volumes of empty seats in the East Stand ...

Jonty ..... no probs.
With all the speculation i was deliberately looking for this stuff (body language etc...). Only White and perhaps Snoddy made me think.
A few of us were chatting at half time about the team and the relationship with SG. General consensus is that all's not well behind the scenes. Now the guys and girls i sit with aren't liable to being excitable - normally considered and overall quite loyal to all things LUFC. For the first time they were openly questioning the management - not so much Bates - but SG.
Still it was a win - albeit somewhat fortuitous it could be argued - but we're only 3 points shy of playoffs.
I still believe we've got far too much "average" in the squad. Afterall if you think about it both Bromby and Bruce came to us from CCC teams. In other words they couldn't get in pretty average Sheff and Ipswich sides - why are we then so shocked when they're coming up short for us at this level? Good/decent signings at the time - not good enough now if we're serious about getting promotion.
