Who takes the blame

Is it Kenny and Comolli for the poor transfer of players such as Carroll, Downing and Henderson. I can understand the signing of Henderson who is a decent prospect and has age on his side. Most of us are even willing to let Carroll have more time. Downing and Adam are the two players I never will understand: not good enough, simple as.

Or should the blame be taken by the players? Are they simply not performing to the level they can do?

I appreciate your opinion, however we have spent near to £100 million on players over the last year and we havent moved on leaps and bounds at all!

its unthinkable If we fail to make Europe for the 2nd season in a row. This will make us unattractive to top class players and will in turn make our better players distracted and wanting to jump ship and we will be sinking rather than steaming ahead IMO.

I agree that we have a lot of prospects for the future, but what about the here and now, its scary and without revenue how are we gonna get the new staduim or expand Anfield?

Adam looks lost without Lucas playing the holding role.

The team is still in transition.

I do persistently get irritated with people expecting instant results. Its 12 months since the new owners took over and the manager, you want us to transformed from upper midtable to title contenders in that time, having spent less than several of our rivals.

I do question whether some people think before they express their opinions.

Yes I agree that we shouldnt be challenging for the title any time soon, but to score more than 1 goal at a time would be nice!

Think of who we could of signed with the money that we spent. I'm sure that Barca would be tempted with a £100m bid for Messi.

We have no right to win anything. Look no further than Leeds, Sheffield Wed, Forest, etc. further LFC have spent approx £40M net. For what we've achieved that's good. Yes we could do far better, but we are moving in the right direction. JimmyTheRed

I'm not too sure if I am happier than I was this stage last season as we were on a roll!

However the squad is different, we have restarted the computer and I have no problems with our future players shining one day!

But havent we got too many midfielders still and no wingers and not enough goals up front?
