Carlos Vela

Vela's agent has said that Vela won't be sold this summer:

"I have had eight conversations with Arsenal, the most recent was last Friday, and Carlos is an Arsenal player, he will stay at Arsenal and is not for sale."

Eight conversations?! How insecure is he?

1. Agent: Hi Arsene, just wanted to check what your plans were for Carlos?

Arsene: He's part of my plans, he'll be in the squad next year.

2. Agent: Hi Arsene, me again. When you say in the squad, you mean the Arsenal squad right?

Arsene: Yes, the Arsenal squad.

Agent: Cool thanks.

3. Agent: Me again, Arsene. The 1st team squad?

Arsene: Yep. As long as he keeps improving.

4. Agent: Just one more thing, Arsene, when you say keeps on improving do you mean if he doesn't improve he might get sold.

Arsene: Look, I rate him, I think he's got a big future. He needs to work hard but I want to keep him at Arsenal.

5. Agent: You said he needs to work hard. Is that harder than he does at the moment or just, you know, keep on going as he is.

Arsene: I would always like my players to work harder.

6. Agent: Just thought I should warn you Carlos is going on holiday for a week, so he won't be working as hard as usual. You won't sell him because of that will you?

Arsene: No.

7: Agent: Carlos is back from holiday. Just wanted to check he should still report for training next season?

Arsene: Yes. He's part of my plans. He should report for training.

8: Agent: Just wanted to check, when I said Carlos, I meant Carlos Vela. You knew that right.

Arsene: Leave me alone.
