Skuse, Foster and the missing link

I think this should be our full back partnership for the foreseeable future at least until we see if Riberio is over his bout of injury proneness.
Foster offers at least as much of an attacking threat as McGivern with his pace plus the pace enables him to get back to cover if the opposition counter attacks plus Skuse's performance at Right Back on Saturday makes a mockery of playing him in Midfield ahead of Cisse.
Having said that we desperately need to find a younger version of Carey I'm not as sure as I was that Wilson is ready yet don't get me wrong hes a good player but he isn't the leader we need with Foster at LB we will be able to play either Nyatanga or Fontaine as LCB as there will not be as much need for someone covering the LB position during matches neither Fonts nor Nya seem to be the long term leader we need to marshall the defence how I wish we could have kept Caulker or find a similar type player.
We have an abundant choice in the striking dept and a lot of midfield players in fact too many in all departments, except goalkeepers, and we need to shed a few, Clarkson, Johnson, Hunt, Maynard(as he wont sign a contract), Woolford (as he doesn't seem to fit into the team) Jamal Campbell Ryce to name 6 which would seriously reduce our wage bill just a thought though if Huddersfield don't get promoted this year perhaps we should look at signing Smithies and if Hull blow up perhaps we could try and get Hobbs for the CB position.
A team consisting of Smithies - Skuse/Ribs - Hobbs - Fonts/Nya - Foster - Adomah - Cisse - Elliott - Kilkenny/Pearson - Yala - Pitman/Stead/A N Other playing 4-5-1/4-3-3 would provide the basis of a good side 0r you could keep Cisse on the bench and play a second striker in a 4-4-2 or if you play Cisse use a 4-4-2 diamond midfield with Cisse back covering the defence you could even accomodate Wilson if we went 5-3-1 3-5-1 with our full backs doing the bulk of the attacking if Adomah and/or Yala were not available, we are not far short of having a good side as we have shown in matches against the top sides in the division we just need to be (a) play the players in their best positions (b) get two more players.
