Red Bull Salzburg are a rich club and they tend to have quality players in their ranks.
Not sure on this Bruins lad, and what the scoop was with his departure, but if the patter about being unable to afford wages without shifting people on is true, then all I can say is "what's the point?"

have to agree mate, can see them wanting at least 10k.
bruins was a good player, but think injury has hampered him. Bit dodgy tho if he was released after only 3 games with them.

Don't believe this sell before we sing anyone.
We've just spent a couple hundred thousand on Celik, and added Aluko to the wage bill not long ago. Despite being told we've got to sell players months ago when Whyte announced the money lost from not getting to Europe.
If we've taken them on trial we obviously have room in the wage budget.

And you don't think Weir leaving and Fleck going out on loan, had anything to do with Celik coming in?

How do you know we haven't offered him a contract?
Why did we take him, the Honduran and now these two on trial?
It's obvious we don't have much money, if we did these aren't the players we would be looking at.

We will see how many we sign if no one goes in this transfer window.

I have so missed being linked with players I have heard of! Bruins was a big hot prospect back in the day who has apparently fallen on hard times. Very much in the no.10 mould and would have been a lot more highly talked about if the country didn't already have VDV and Sneijder. Would love to see him come in and get a chance to get his carreer back on track: 24 is FAR from over the hill! This is a young lad who has european experience and has played regularly for a top team in a top league. Makes a change from swedish relegation contenders playmaker, Autralian leagues player of the season, USA leagues rookie of the year and the other tripe we've had to try get excited about!

How about Danny Webber, he is a free agent and would do a job for either side of the Old Firm I reckon.
