Deadwood

i posted this in another thread but might be more relevant here:

we are a couple of players short IMO of almost guaranteeing top 4 position but the board and Wenger want to take that gamble, that's up to them and we will see if it pays off at the end of the season.

I understand to some degree not putting another defender on the payroll and maybe their plans is a big clear out for the next season but not now in January and there does not seem to be many clubs that want our deadwood so that still mean to many players collecting high wages so to bring in more not so easy.

Anyway, we will see, I also think and this has been said a lot of times, Arsenal will not break there financial model and I think with the recession, fair play rules and all that they are banking their direction is right.

Of course none of this excuses Wengers of some of his stubborn strange coaching tactics which seem to be getting worse.
