From the Belfast Telegraph:
He’s a young Catholic, pretty nifty with a Gaelic football — and on his way to Rangers.
Budding football star Aaron McGregor is set make a remarkable transition this week when he swaps his GAA jersey for the Glasgow side’s blue strip.
The 17-year-old has been snapped up by the Scottish giants, signing a two-year full-time professional contract......for more see original article.
What do you NI fans think? Hope he gets a good reaction from Rangers fans. I'm sure he will. A positive step for all me thinks.

your right there i was looking at the page i was on the wrong way
there is Roberts,Trevor Francis,Micheal Ball,Franny Jeffers and Beattie to that List
Rod Wallace was great but he didny play for England And neither has Bartley
he's only about 19
also missed out on Ronald Watterues who also played for Holland
you get my point though
we have never been big on signing non Scottish players wether they are welsh, irish English
that won't suddenly change

Fair point I suppose Pollock. Remeber Dalziel in the early 80's I think. He was Welsh.
This whole thing works both ways as there's lots of Irish players who just wouldn't sign for Rangers

did he not score that late equalizer for Raith Rovers against Celtic at Ibrox in the 1995 League Cup Final?
Raith Rovers went on to win on spot kicks
i'm sure it's him and he now works for a radio station or newspaper
