Nigel will only bring in the right kind of player that has the right attributes, he wants strong characters as well as decent footballers. Maybe he has looked at other players similar to those you mentioned above but maybe they haven't fallen into the same mould of the type of player he wants to bring here.

Maybe he off loaded the likes of Fernandes, Abe, Johnson, Ball etc is for the same reason?

I want Snodgrass..... but that's unlikely so I guess Ben Marshall will do!

I've not seen much of him, but he looks "decent" if not a world beater. Reality is, he'd ad that much needed balance tithe team and would be better than no-one!!

If he comes, let's hope he thrives in our set up and gets the best out of our strikers.

Get Dave Kitson. Excellent target man and gave us all sorts of problems at their place.

I'd really quite like Marshall. He's young and highly rated and sounds like he might be ready for the step up.

Dave Kitson is also a good call as he's the type of forward who could add something to our squad.
