With all the troubles at the club (and trouble there most definitely is, behind the scenes), perhaps now is the time for us and the players to take a step back from football politics and debates about finances and do our talking on the pitch. We have a run of games ahead that we really should be getting 3 points from each week. Take a look...

We have a better team than all of these clubs do. I'm an eternal optimist (well, when it comes to Leeds at least) and although I am certain that changes need to be made, we are a team that has proven in the past that when doubt is shed over us, we perform the best. I really hope we can take an unbeaten run and by the time we play Southampton in March, it'll be a tustle for an automatic spot.
I may be wrong, and we'll end up mid-table with a disillusioned fan base, no star players and a new manager who's on par with SG but on less money. But I think that a fixture list like this has come at the right time, and it'll be what's done on the pitch that shapes the season, not the b0110cks that's done behind closed doors.
A real chance of promotion?

RSL.. no problem... yes it's very hard to get back into it I agree, all the variations of openings etc... thats why that d5 response to my e4 captured me, I just didn't expect it... I spent 20 minutes on the next move trying to work out what the hell to do - still got it wrong... still though, this season for me is just about finding my feet.... will do the congress thing next year too..
wonderful RSL... speak soon

mine for black is the Sicilian Defence against whites e4.... you'd of guessed that though eh? - don't have one for whites d4, just open solidly.
RSL - I once played at Angus Dunningtons house, we were going through games etc, I was a young 14 year old player, and looked up to the 30 years (ish) Angus Dunnington, he tought me the grand prix while I ate all his wine gums met his wife (attactive from what I remember) - was 18 years ago ish, thinking about it she could been Italian after all... I know she was def southern Europe, im sure I'd of remember if she was Italian.... though can't remember for sure
