Henderson i thought had a decent game

Can you just tell me what did Henderson do in the match? Any assist? Any time stopping an attack. Anything? He was all the time running chashing the ball without any success. He gave the ball away too many times.

have a look at Modric the most sought after midfielder in prem and tell me what he does... no assists, rarely scores...Henderson got about the pitch very well broke up play and kept the ball intelligently, covered for Gerrard when he went forward and for the lack lustre Adam

The difference is Modric makes forward passes while Henderson makes backwards and sideways passes. Don’t let the wums laugh at us please.

Henderson is younger and has been played out of position in most games. Modric has 2 more assists than him this season in a side playing more attacking football. Thought he done well tonight...he has been poor in some games.Adam and Downing were shocking

I don’t care about the stats. Modric play makes the team dominate the midfield. He brings everyone else into the game with his dominate midfield play. He may not be getting the assists but he makes others getting them. Henderson is young and still learning. That is exactly my point. He should not be playing every game. He is to Dalglish what was Kuyt to Rafa. Something we don’t se.

Kuyt played his best game this season. I thought this week it is crucial to the team and Dalglish in particular because had we lost to City and then MU the owner who was watching the game at Anfield would probably sack him. I hope he gets more cash to spend in the next few days and we beat MU and get some wins in the league as we have been playing poorly recently.

Na na na, Henderson was key in the highlights on bbc, moved the ball quickly onwards, a lot of the chances came when he linked midfield and attack. Effort as well was top class, better chasing than watching. Carroll looked tired as soon as he came I thought - not a fan. Henderson is class and only gonna get better
