Serious Answers please if posssible :-)

Serious questions for the gers fans Would you rather still be under the control of lloyds or do you think the enigma that is whyte is the better of the two?

Correct me if iam wrong but did lloyds not actually spend money on players when they had a member on the board of rangers ???

Whereas craig whyte has had rangers dragged through courts over numerous serious and frivolous allegations, not too mention the blatant lies to the fans about the 15million front loaded warchest. And now to the non existant january transfer window when pieman is crying out for fresh blood whyte is nowhere to be seen.

So how could rangers spend money when lloyds had a member on board and where owed 17.5million give or take a few.

Now whyte bought gers for the price of a can of brew with all these promises he paid off lloyds so how can he still not buy players ????

I am really being serious when asking these questions as the way i see it under lloyds youse spent more money ??? yet all youse ever wanted was rid of them now it seems your worse off than before.

All you one star posters many thanks in advance

My honest answer is I would rather stick with Whyte if we lose the tax case, and would have rather stuck with Lloyds if we were to win. If we lost under Lloyds we would have been forced into asset stripping, however under Whyte we have the Pheonix club option.

Thanks for being the first bear to respond ecosse Pheonix ie as in new name for rangers, totally new company like when livingston took over meadowbank ??

Or more brian potter type pheonix

If as you say the pheonix option would you be happy with rangers losing all of their history ??? like third lanark and meadowbank ? As rangers as we know it would be no more ??

I don't think most gers fans would be happy with that scenario

If you look at the history of Leeds Utd you can see they started up a completely new company in 2007 - very interesting articles on this on both STV and the Scotsman newspapers. The difference with meadowbank and rangers is that we would not cease to exist in the way we did - our assets would just be transferred to a new holding company and with the exception of any SFA imposed actions and a 3 year ban from Europe, no-one would really notice the difference. We would still be Rangers, playing in Ibrox and just as Leeds still retain their history, we would still retain ours.

Is it right? Nope. Is it morally wrong? Yup. Can it be done? Yes it can. Am I happy about it? Not happy but at least there will still be a rangers.

It doesn't matter a jot if it's morally wrong if the law allows it to happen then theirs not f all anyone can do, The bit i dont understand is they keep going on about rangers losing their proud history, surely they would have read these articles you have read.
