no hopefor, its not going to help india is it? I just feel SA are the right champions in the world. Yes they are not producing those 3-1 scores or 4-0 scores, but they have not let other teams win against them. If not win then draw, and that is pretty consistant for my liking. anyway hopefor, not that I hate the england team, just england fans who have been boasting about their rise in the world cricket and at the same time making fun of this indian team.

Viru - I have never boasred about England being number one as for me the rankings are an irrelevance. Until every team have played each other home and away it's impossible to judge their true strength. Whats worse is that each teams cycle are not synchronized , Whilst one team is playing strong opposition away others can be playing weaker opposition at home.

besty, this is why the number one ranked team has to hold that position for 2 years at least before he becomes recognised as the true no.1......

You will find the true no.1 ranked team will soon be intrenched in it's true position...Sth. Africa.

There's only been one team that was truly number one in the world. that was the great Aussie team. Since their decline no one will remain number one for long because there is no great team around at present.

I can't argue with logic like that....that's why a team needs to be there for at least 2 years before it can be recognised as no.1...
