how is it we need to sell players to get others in?
i always thought our finances were fine, and if we were to go into a bit of debt, im sure winning the championship and (hopefully) and a cup win could pay that off with more to spend?

our squad is much stronger than Rangers obviously but what if hoops/Stokes gets injured for a couple of months who else are we going to rely on for goals upfront? Samaras Bangura naw,we need another striker in,lennon knows this but my feeling is that pete aint gonny allow it until he shifts the deadwood.

IF we end up losing the league because we failed to splash half a million or even a million on a striker, Lawwell will be under huge pressure and not just from the fans.

As a bear pointed out to me the other day, Lawwell is on record as saying his failure to sign a striker during Strachan's last season would "be written on his gravestone".

To repeat the same mistake a few years later goes beyond mere incompetence.

Rangers have been linked with the rapid striker too haven't they. But can't see how they could afford him. Hope we don't live to regret not signing him.
