I've run out of defences for him, he's just not good enough.
Supported and back him all season but he just isn't up to the task, let's too many goals in straight through him.
The winner today was pathetic.
If Lindegaard was playing neither goal would have gone in I'm sure of that.
On plus note Utd were excellent today, didn't deserve to lose at all.
De Gea knocks Utd out of FA cup

Defence equally as bad for both goals. Evra totally out of position which left Kuyt unmarked.

It wasn't straight at him. That's why it didn't hit him. You've never ever played in goal have you positivity? Get your mate to smash a football at you from 6 or 7 yards away and try and stop it. Unless it hits you without you moving, you aren't stopping it.

Just seen it again, De Gea gives me no confidence at all in goal I'd hate to be a defender in front of him.
The ball was basically drilled straight through him.

The same Lindegaard that played awful against Newcastle? It's no wonder nobody takes you seriously. They are both inexperienced and still learning. De Gea will come good. Poor defending from Evra and poor substitutions from SAF - a recurring theme - is what cost us today.

Lindegaard wasn't rubbish against Newcastle he let on 3 gaols 2 of which were unstoppable and an OG. !!!

People on here know nothing about goalkeeping. First goal wasn't totally his fault, but he got into a no mans land. Second goal again should have done better. Not only was it straight at him, but an experienced keeper would have rushed out to close the angle. The ball traveled the length of the pitch, so there was no excuse for him to stick on the goal line, as if he was paralyzed. De Gea - whoever authorized to pay 18 million for him should be dropped of a cliff.

I mean just look how quickly Reina closed down Welbeck, when he was through.

He just seems incapable of not conceding, often goals are not his fault directly like today or the 6 by City but he usually could have done better and only seems to save the shots from distance rather than any where he needs to put his body on the line or challenge.
Just don't think he is cut out for the premiership and we have to act now rather than persevere with him.

Any free kick from 40 yards is stoppable. The 3rd goal was a lack of basic communication with the defender. He also flapped at a number of crosses and this resulted in a few dodgy punches. So yes, he was awful.

I'm with CP on this one. The first one he was never going to get to. Instead of stepping back towards the goal he instead decided to get involved in a wrestling match with Carroll, who was never getting to the ball either. If he'd have stepped then he'd have saved the header.
I'll put less blame in him for the second goal as it was close range, but I think he could have saved it. Just another to add to the collection of goals he has conceded that have gone through him or very close to him. Everyone keeps defending him and saying he has great reflexes - so why does he let so many of those kinds of goals in?
