What about a Good Willie?

So, there are rumours flying around that Leicester have made an improved offer of a few million and Martin Waghorn for Nicky.

I'd bite their hands off and take that deal straight away if it were true.

Lets be honest. If Nicky really wanted to stay, he'd have signed a contract. How long have these talks been going on now? Months. It's pretty clear he is unsure about signing and is interested in other offers. If he does go so be it. Yes he's a phenomenal goal scorer and I'd love him to stay (if he wanted to), but how often do we all say, we only want players at the club, who want to be at club.

Which brings me on to who we get as a replacement. Ryan Taylor is no way a direct goalscoring replacement. Hes said it himself, he's a target man that scores a few goals. For me, a nice little back up.

I'd go and spend all the money we get for Nicky on David Goodwillie. Every penny. He's 22, and been banging goals in from all over the place.

I know Rangers were interested, but they refused to pay the 2 million Dundee UTD were asking, and obviously Cardiff are interested, but for me, hes the perfect replacement.

Keith's been trying to get players in, and yes, most have gone to premiership or bigger championship clubs, but he's aiming high to get decent footballers to the club.

C'mon Keith, sell Nicky and replace him with a good willie!

Goodwillie is far far too good for Bristol City.

It's Rangers or the Premier League.

just wishful thinking from Cardiff.
