After a boring weekend, we are back in action at Forest on Tuesday night. We follow this with a home game v Posh, away at Saints and then home to Barnsley. So the question is........how many points will we get. I would love to think we might get 8 or 9 but if I had to put money on it I would go for 7. Realistically I think 9 plus would put us in a great position for a final push. Less than 7 would probably leave us with too much to do. Thoughts please.
It was interesting that Kevin Long was John Colemans first signing at Rochdale and futhermore he went straight into Rochdales winning team at home to Bury. If he can be successful in Div 1 then he might just turn out to be the replacement for Duff who aint getting any younger. I have not seen the boy play but JC certainly must rate him highly.
Next 4 games and Kevin Long

Well all the best to Billy boy and I hope he does well but think he will find chances hard to come by.
Samba to QPR well I would say thta puts the t'Rovers under the cosh not sure who will lead their defense and score goals.
So we have another Lafferty, hope this one does good and finally a defender.

Morning fellas. Got the shock of my life when I returned to the civilized world and saw the headline 'Lafferty Signs for Burnley'. If we end today as we are now I would be a very happy Claret far cry from the moaning git I became pre season Good luck to Lafferty, as ILI said Duffo aint getting any younger. UTC

I think we all became moaners for the past 18 months, not a lot of Ha ha ha around and the clarets just were not the team that we knew they could be.
All is well now and the future is Claret

Looks like T`Rovers are signing the dynamic Bradley Orr from QPR.
Would you rather sign ORR or LAFFERTY ?

Ok thats the first 3 points from the possible 12. Pity for JRod that he missed the pen but 2-0 is a perfect result. I really am beginning to get excited about our chances this season. Brilliant work by EH in getting our defense sorted and a special mention to the tremendous Clarets away support tonight ( 2004 on a Tuesday night ! )

Great result and yeah shame about the pen but still got the three points, its smelling like we are sneaking up.
What about Brum? looks like they are clicking into gear also, great win for them tonight.
Magnificent support for the Clarets with 2000 going to Notts on a Tuesday night. Thats well over 10% of the average home gate so hats off to them and for the team for giving them an enjoyable drive home.

We have found our form at the right time this season. We struggled early on but the team is starting to gel now, plenty of talented players now playing as a team. As I said yesterday, if the squad stayed as it was I would be very happy. The result last night was the icing on the cake. Great day to be a Claret UTC

You're a good side, with great attacking threat all over the pitch, devastating pace and accuracy in front of goal.
Maybe its fair to say there's a slight weakness between the center halves, but still you should walk into the playoffs from what i've seen

Cheers Vidal, hope you get out of trouble. Beat some of the top teams for us.
