Tottenham Launch £22million Carroll Bid

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has reportedly offered Liverpool £22million for unsettled striker Andy Carroll after revelations that the Anfield hierarchy have attempted to oust the £35million flop to Manchester City in exchange for Carlis Tevez. Reds boss Dalglish has previously backed Carroll but recently discovered him dabbling with the pipe after an intensive training session and is keen to avoid a pipe culture at the club which was last prominent during the Roy Evans era.

Carroll's agent is quoted as being furious that LFC didn't even bother to tell him of their intentions. That is, of course, if they ever made the offer in the first place. Carroll himself is quoted as saying he is happy, he is staying, the rest of the squad are wrapped round him well. After Saturday's performance, bim Kenny's quote, lets see if this is Carroll, Phoenix-like, rising from the ashes to glory. JimmyTheRed

Musewell

JimmyTheRed, for 22 million you could get Hazard and another 8 million you can get Demba Ba in the summer.

I don't know, what if we could get him to stop dabbling? If we get rid of him, his pipe usage could go into overdrive, I don't want to see that.

Pipe seems to suit Andy going on yesterday's performance. Keep it up I say. Even though he can afford a realll Lamborghini I bet his pipe is a homemade LAMBO!
