GILES BARNES

Forest offer contract to former starlet Giles Barnes, but face competition for his signature

----------------------------------------

So it looks like we are up against Doncaster Rovers and Cardiff for his signature.

Call me a little bit biast but I think that we have the better potential this season that both Doncaster and Cardiff, ex England manager at the helm and what appears to be harmony between manager and board, some of the best players in the Championship

Come back to Forest and help us push for automatic promotion

Ramadan has got a point, EVERY player in the world is like DC. We should be looking at the likes of Bryson, Robinson, McGuire, Ward who are all worldbeaters

Not world beaters TEG, just fit enough to be on the pitch and not a drain on resources like Giles Barnes will be - FACT.

Talking about Barnes or Tyson??

Barnes' ability wins games, but his attitude loses games.

I suspect he will start well, then before long his attitude will cause him to be dropped and he won't feature much any more.

Spot on

Barnes will have to work for a place at Forest, and he'll realise that if he joins

Tyson will walk straight in at Derby, because embarrassingly for them, they've got nobody better.

I hope we don't get Barnes cos all we'll hear is the sheep going on about him like they used to about Billy.

Not sure "poached" is the right word. Some indelicate handling from our youth set-up meant that Barnes and Huddlestone threw their toys out the pram and toddled off to the black sheep down the road. Big opportunities missed although the silver lining is that Derby didn't get much benefit out of them either.
