Leeds will do a QPR

I'm quietly confident we can do a qpr this season and take the championship by the scruff of the neck early on and proceed to run away with it. There will be no specially strong teams in it this year so why not. I'll be having a nice few quid with the bookies too. Sir Simon will have learned a lot from the past season, a handful of astute signings will do the trick

Don't get too carried away. You have a good team and a good manager but the Championship is a tough division and is particularly difficult to dominate at the end of the season. Very unpredictable.
Leicester are joint favourites with West Ham to go up, probably because they are supposed to have money to spend. I shan't be banking on that.

Any idiot can spend money. Spending it wisely and producing a balanced team is the tricky bit. Some good teams will be coming down so there is a tough season ahead.

I don't share ya confidence.

Grayson is not a good manager, both his full seasons have seen the same pattern, we slid backwards in the 2nd half of seasons.

He can't pick a player, doesn't know nothing about tactics and can't read a game to save a sinking ship.

After 2 full seasons I really can't see what Grayson has to learn that he should'ave learned already.

Cheap or free players tell you something........pay peanuts and you get monkeys.

I think the problem with some on here - like Lofty(who everyone seems to moans about) - is it's not always the opinion itself that is given, more the way it is given an a derogatory and IMo a rather immature manner at times.

There is no doubt that Grayson has achieved a great deal in his time, but there is also no doubt that Dennis Wise (and I feel Gus Poyet deservers mention here) got Leeds kicked off fighting against the -15 deficit and then Gary McAllister went on and led Leeds to a Play-Off final, unlkine Simon Grayson.

From what I've observed, none of them were spectacular in their acheivements in League One and two seasons running Simon Grayson has blown a strong postion, and even last year only tripped us over the line.

We have to consider the strength of the Championship this year also and accept that the reason 72 points was not good enough is because there were no teams so strong that they took points off nearly all the others and stretched away to a huge lead. It is 100% fact that not reaching the play-offs with 72 points indicates an even field of teams and therefore would be classified as weaker ie. as a direct result, there was therefore a greater opportunity for gaining promotion. I think many feel that in the circumstances, we let an opportunity slip having reached 2nd place around Christmas. Unlike Norwich, who having reached it, consolidated, and pushed on.......which one might argue is precisely what they did last year in League One!!

Lofty - there IS a more objective way of setting out your arguments......!! I don't see the point of willfully rubbing up people the wrong way just for the sake of it. Sorry mate, but it strikes me as simply being a bit immature. Say something different just for once.

It does look like the 3 currently occupying the Premiership relegation spots would be the best three for us to have join us. THey all have key players who are 99% certain to leave if they go down and which may leave them weakened.

Leeds Fan,

Take a moment to read my post about verbal abuse, not my actual post but a reply within it, it may give you a bit more understanding.
