Scot Brown has shown us again in the last two matches why he is the number 1 captain in Scotland and why Neil Lennon probably writes his name down first every week that he is fit and available.
Last week he set up the opening goal with a superb pass to wee Forrest and followed up with a stunning goal to seal the victory.
Yesterday we were awarded a penalty and Scot grabbed the ball placed it on the spot and rifled it home. Considering the problems we have had wit scoring penalties all year a very cool piece of leadership.
Scot Brown spends the 90 mins working his socks off and encouraging his team mates to do the same. A proper captain and no bad footballer either.
The Captain.

Where's Ghod when you need him.
He's been the driving force behind the team in recent weeks.
Keep up the good work son.

I can see why he divides opinion BUT he has to be in....you only have to see the players respond to him to see he is a good captain. He is not long back from injury and should now just about be coming in to his own. Has to start despite shortcomings (although what he does well at - he excels - drive, agression, the broony ). Lenny wont drop his captain - end of!

If everybody was fit Scot Brown would be on the team.
Apart from being a great leader Scot Brown is still a good player. Winning teams need good leaders. Without Brown the Celtic team struggles as it has no leader. N. Lennon can adopt to a number of places and it would be very foolhardy for Neil Lennon to leave him out. S.Brown is one of the first names down on the international teamsheet and no way is N. Lennon going to leave him out.

NNH..you're right. Victor has not been great. I have to agree that Brown has been excellent the past two games...he is wasted out wide and needs to be in the middle if he plays at all. But is it a coincidence that VIc has faded since Brown moved into the middle. Is big Vic totally confused and wondering WTF is going on. Brown must be a nightmare to play beside...he is good but not strong on the tactical discipline
