Great to hear there is going to be a testimonial for Harry Gregg.
When you see the attitude of the young football players today, and compare them to Harry Gregg you shake your head.
Gregg is not a footballing hero, he is a hero full stop. What he did that fateful night in Munich is the stuff of legend.
It's just a pity it has taken so long for the club to recognise it.

did he not benefit from the Munich testimonial in the late 80's ?
He is a hero and probably needs the money but he isnt the only survivor.

Are you talking about the game in '98?
Dont think he needs the money to be fair, and of course there are many survivors of the tragic event.
However none of them did what he did that night he does deserve the acknowledgment.

Only recently heard what he did that night, whatever else he did in life that alone marks him out as a legend in my eyes.
