Why sign Alacantara when we have Ramsey? Why is it so difficult to see that replacing experienced players with unproven kids is never going to win us anything? If Cesc leaves the bidding starts at £50M and all of that money should be invested into signing proven quality players to replace him. I won't take any players in exchange from Barca, especially a young Catalan who will only want to go back in a few years time anyway.

why have a young Barca player in teh deal when he will just get homesick (Reyes) or destroyed (Reyes) or have Barca DNA (Rey....I mean Fabregas)

if we were going to get a player from them, we should be looking to get Villa who I am told by medics has no Barca DNA (but may have some Valencian DNA)
