Reports on the BBC website have mentioned we have offered Crystal Palace an improved offer of 7m for Zaha! For me I think that is to much for a player with no premier league experience and we should be looking at other options.

7 million is ridiculous for us to spend right now on a C'ship punt.
We'd be better off banking it until the summer and spending it on Fletcher when we send Wolves down!

To be fair and I hope I am wrong by 11:00pm I said this with dos santos coyle has no pulling power to get players. He has been knocked back a lot without the player requesting the opportunity to speak to him.

Its a surface thing though. Our first problem has been talking to the clubs to agree a fee or if the player is availble. Most players have been unavailable.
WE are currently in a relegation battle, we have little pulling power as a club, not specifically Coyle.

Usually a player then has the power to say actually I want to speak to them. At that point theclub are flogging a dead horse. If skd says to coyle Sunderland offer a reasonable amount I want to go he might as well sell.
That's what can happen if a player decides look that guy is going to make me a better player or that clubs going somewhere.

This is the cost of young, valued talent. If we had him and Man Utd wanted him, we'd want at least £7m!
