Race for title and CL open

Man City continued their poor recent form. Everton played with 10 in defence but still won the game. Gibson the former MU player who joined them this week scored the only goal. MU fans at OT chanted his name probably for the first time. Moyes will probably ask Ferguson for more players next time. Ferguson won’t mind as long as he continues to help him stopping his rivals. Man City have to be the unluckiest team in terms of referees’ decisions. I don’t know how Drenthe escaped the red card with his tackle on Richards. The ref also denied them a clear penalty when the ball hit Neville’s hand.

After giving Arsenal two penalties in the FA cup against Aston Villa (first one was a definite penalty but not the 2nd) Referee Jones awarded two more penalties for MU (both were soft ones). He also sent off Adam and Skrtel earlier in the season against Spurs. I heard he is an Everton fan.

With Man City poor form and MU injury crisis, Spurs have a big chance to catch them. I certainly believe they can do it.

Liverpool got their first league win in 2012. Wolves were so poor. They have not won in nine games and only got one point in their last five home games. It looked so easy for Liverpool who should have scored more goals.

At last we have seen the dirty Ashley Cole getting a red card. Chelsea scored a lucky injury time goal.

After the recent poor league game for us and since the poor show at Bolton, we have turned the corner. We have reached the Carling cup final. Knocked MU out of the FA cup and then got our first league win in 2012. Adam my man of the match.

Will Spurs win their next game to get closer to City and United?
----------
No but will win the game after that and MU will lose their next two (Chelsea and Liverpool)

Park always goes to the ground
so easily but because he is not a
popular player people don’t
remember or talk about it. I still
think he could have stayed on his
feet.

Maybe you could reserve the same observation for your captain.

and how about your current captain and former captain. Arsenal fan talking about diving.

--

What match? The FA Cup game? That was Berbatov?

Everton fully deserved their win soft rse. Howard didn't have to make a save & our makeshift back 4 were magnificent. The supposed handball was never a penalty & the Drenthe foul was rightly awarded a yellow, only armchair balloons like you would ever have that as a red, even Richards didn't appeal.

Even Peter Reid said it was a penalty for City and a red card for Drenthe. I won't add any more on this.

I don't care if the Pope said it was a red, I was sat 15 foot from it & it was never a DELIBERATE handball & the Drenthe foul was foot up & never a DELIBERATE attempt to harm Richards.

You saw them once like the ref but Myself, Reid and Andy Townsend saw them 10 times from different angles.

And you need to read the rules. The ball hit Neville’s hand from at least 10 meters. His arm was open and up.

It doesn’t have to be a deliberate tackle to send someone off. It was a high and very dangerous tackle. Richards was hurt and was worried about his injured leg instead of running towards the ref appealing. That is stupid of you to think he should have appealed. May be his teammates could have appealed but not the injured player.

I have to say, even as a Chelsea fan if I had to back a team for 4th spot right now it would be Liverpool.

We are playing rubbish and Arsenal are still. brittle. Liverpool have momentum and they have Suarez coming back.

You play us at Anfield which is never on of our better away grounds.

If I were a Liverpool fan right now I would be feeling confident of finishing 4th.
