Serious question for the bears. Even afore the events of the last couple of days who rated McCoist as a manager full stop. Forget him being Ally the Rangers legend as a player what do you think of his performances as a manager alone

It's hard to judge him with all the off-field action that has been happening at the club.

Being knocked out of Europe twice and the league cup isn't a glowing recommendation, but he is a new manager taking on a big club which is downsizing and selling it's best players.

I don't think any manager can be fairly judged in that climate. We'll see where we finish come the end of the season, if we within 10 points of Celtic then I think he would be done ok given everything that has happened.

He has had his problems to deal with but I have not seen anything to convince me he is a manager. Loved and hated Ally the player as my name suggests I actually am a Scotland fan first then a Celtic fan. Thats where the love hate came in wanted him to do so well for Scotland but play bad for you. Done my nut in as I knew he needed good club form to perform in internationals.
So that speel aside I aint anti Ally (sleekit whisper aside, will have to wait for one of thier bio's to decide on what was said I guess) .
What I base it on is as far back as when Smith let him have his head in cup games and with the Squad he had should have done better in the cups.
