With no funds for new players and with only emergency loans to add to current squad, would it be better to give Neil Redfearn for job til end of the season??
Redfearn knows squad, fringe players, youth set up, etc so should be able to pick from his knowledge already. If he could bring in a Number 2 to help him maybe he could do the job till end of season, leaving Bates time to find "Right Man" in the summer with fresh transfer budget.
On flip side, with Leeds only being 3 points off playoffs, Bates may want someone in ASAP in case "Right man" gets tapped up before end of season by another club.

Yes I agree if we win at Bristol and play well, then expect Neil to get the job till the end of the season.
Cheap option.

Shocking stats as a manager and caretaker manager of 17% win ratio. It was a shocking decision to give him the academy and then reserve team role in the 1st place, but hey he was cheap and we'd just sacked all our academy bosses and coaches to save money.

Totally agree - Neil has bags of experience and knows the setup, and who knows he might do well - we will see on Saturday, I have this funny feeling Leeds are going to beat city !
