Yesterday I was watching Sky Sports news and there was a financial expert being interviewed about FIFA's new financial rules coming into effect next season, and he was saying that a well run club would have a wage bill of 50% to 70% of turnover
Leeds 2009 accounts state Leeds turnover 27 million, 2011 Leeds turnover must be over 30 Million, so wouldn't a wage budget of 15 million to 21 million be substanainable
If our wage budget is 10 million what do we spend the other 20 million on, inflated rent of Elland Road (owned by Uncle Ken when he remembers where the deeds are .Mixed up with his Leeds United Share Certificates I'am sure he'll find the deeds soon)

Salaries for executives, Hotels, Nightclubs, Restaurants, Museums, Yachts, Court Cases-Lawyers fees, basically anything that doesnt benefit the club

I just feel there was money in the club to keep our best players Gradel, Howson, Johnston and Schmichel add some quality in the summer and give it a go this year for promotion

12 million spent so far is the player budget, basically everything has to come from that pot, transfers, wages, signing on fees

9.5 player budget, 12 current level 6 months into the year, so 2.5 over budget, or so Ken said a couple of weeks back. Trouble is how much of what he says can you believe?
