Just had a look at the coaches comments on the bbc and Mc Dermott is blaming playing against the reff again, tell me if I am wrong but was not that the case when we beat the whinos at Headingly.
Maybe the coach should have a hard look at his tactics and his players before blaming some one else.
Blaming the ref again !!

Barry Mac on sky said the best team won so blaming the ref is a lame excuse....

Ganson was an absolute disgrace last night (even by his standards)...
BUT Leeds were far worse and would've lost whoever was reffing; which was pretty much echoed by Brian McDermott, in the post-match interview:
"We had enough possession and didn't convert it to tries, so I don't feel hard done to by the referee at all."
"If Steve Ganson had a bearing on penalties you have to be able to deal with it. I thought we got too emotional at times."
So, wire in the blood, how is he blaming the ref? It seems, quite clearly, that he blaming his players. Or are you just another anti-Leeds wire fan, grasping at straws?

If he believes that ganson had no bearing on the game then why even mention him ?? just blame the players straight out.
And being to emotional is just another way of saying `it wasn`t our fault we lost`
I am not anti anyone just pointing out that Leeds are not the force this season that they and sky want them to be.

Ganson was actually comical at times, seemingly making up the rules as he went along - apparently he's added seeing round corners to his repertoire too! Baffling is probably the best word to describe his performance. So, without openly criticising him (not worth it, the RFL always win in that situation), McDermott merely highlighted the players' frustrations.
Irrespective of this, McDermott was still laying the blame firmly at the feet of the players. A lot of players did lose their cool - which cost us 6 points (the winning margin) in penalties - but that's their problem, not Ganson's - they're experienced professionals and should be able to rise above adversity.
Wasting a shed-load of possession was the main reason for Leeds losing this game - and I think McDermott acknoweldged that.
tbh, I'm not a massive fan of his but I think his comments last night were pretty fair.

Yes Ganson was comical last night and confused the hell out of me, normally he penalizes the hell out of us.

Leeds are done the game has moved on they have not old and slow, McDermott fits that well too a lousy coach, looks angry all the time and surprised at how hopeless his teams are.
Sad days for Rhino fans but they have enjoyed a lot recently.

its good to see new teams breaking through fighting for honours, when one team dominates the sport season after season it becomes stale and boring, a bit like the Scottish Premier League.
