Hope to see this

Aftwr the recruitment of ryo, sordell & ream I'm hoping I see this lineup at somepoint this season & who knows we could sign ryo & the team of the future could be;

Bogdan

Riley Wheater Ream. Alonso

Chungy. Holden NRC. Ryo

Mavies

Sordell

To me this gives us hope to be optimistic for the future of our beloved club, the current team are on a great run of form of late only loosin at old Trafford so not taking anything away from players not in the above team, but if they can get us off our seats & get the results they have been getting imagine what the above team given time together would be cabable of

possibly a team for next season that less ryo.like to see bogdan stay 1st choice, wheater, knight will probably be 1st choice for rest of season, ream and sordell both one for the future altough i expect cameos from the bench from both ryo and sordell.no news of when alonso, lee and holden will be fit?also when they are they will have to get match fit which does not leave a lot of time left for them in the season.i expect the recent line up to be more or less the regular 11 for the rest of the season.

May God forgive me for commenting on a team line-up thread, but...

Ricketts?

Agreed but I'm a dreamer & if we sign ryo then as I said I'm hopeful this will be team of future I'm hoping we might see this team back end April may when we are mathematically safe

Not got a bad word to say about rickets he has been the main reason we are improving our results as the rest of the team, defence in particular have confidence in him as he is a good player, but he's gone 30 & coyle likes youth & I feel alonso is one for the future not today as I feel sordell is one for future

Surely N'gog can fit in somewhere as he's only 22?

I can't see us signing Ryo, 1 He's still unproven in the Prem. 2. If we play him and he turns out to be a good player, Wenger won't sell, well not for a fee that we could afford.

Apart from that, it could be a decent team. Don't forget though, it's important to have a few old heads just to keep a good balance between the youngsters and the experienced. I don't subscibe to having a complete eleven of young players.

Well not in the Premiership.

Agreed again that's why NRC Holden chungy and wheater are in there, place for ngog would be in the bench as he could be an ok squad player at the moment he is the best we have got

add to that team ngog and muamba who are both young and under contract like the rest of that team (except ryo).survive this season keep ricketts from the out of contract list maybe kev davies and jussi for a bit of experience, some more sensible young signings in the summer then the future is looking bright again unlike before the blackburn game when i saw no hope.

KD has already signed a one year extension hasn't he? As to Jussi, well, I'd let him go. Adam's proving himself to be a capable number one (much to my surprise I admit but I'm delighted to be wrong about him) and Rob Lainton isn't a bad back up at all.

Ricketts is a MUST KEEP imo. Alonso is a great prospect but Ricketts is alrady a proven player and we need that at the back especially with Cahill gone.

Ryo is an intriguing signing and I hope he turns out to be as good for us as Jack Wilshere was but we won't know until he plays a few games. Wheater has looked really solid and even Zat Knight has looked better recently but I agree they shouldn't play together. About the only beef I have with your team is that you have not one but TWO unknown quantities in the back four and that's too much for right now.

If Ream turns out to be as good as we all hope that IS a very exciting looking line up though for next season. I agree with SWIE that you need some experience at this level but with a solid spine running from Adam through Tim and Dave with Nigel and Stuart in the middle and a pacey striker up top then we should be a match for almost anyone in the premiership. BUT we really do need to sign up some better backup players in the summer. The likes of Paul Robinson and Robbie Blake are wasting bench space and squad places in my opinion and they have GOT to be replaced with better quality (assuming we can afford it that is. If not then get rid and go after some more good prospects who can be blooded in the cups)
