Just heard the news that no England players have been bought at the IPL auction. Shows how pathetic this England team has become.
Not long ago this team was being milked by all corners of the media. They were being dubbed the best team on the planet and rightly so, after the impressive triumphs against the Ausies and the 's. Now they are being hung out to dry.
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
And as I type this they are being humbled again by a mediocre Pakistan team. Unlike England, Pakistan know how to make full use of a situation and will no doubt win this test to take the series 3 nil. Need changes people

Indeed, with your attack I'd fancy you against anyone on home soil.
Just as I'd fancy us on home soil against anyone. At the moment we've all got our flaws, some more than others but I'm happy for your fans that you our pulling it together after a few tough years.

Pretty amazed but glad that neither Samuels, Rampaul or Edwards were picked up.
Hopefully they'll be fully fit and on top form for the tour of England

Oh dear! Can't you do even a little bit of research before you write an article.
Both Broad and KP are playing in the IPL.
One reason current England test-players are not particularly popular this time around is they will not be able to stay in India long enough to play in the latter stages of the competition.
That said, the point other posters have made - i.e. being selected (or not) to play 20/20 for big bucks has very little to do with being a good test match cricketer - is also valid.
