Maynard has now said the BCFC fans drove him out of Bristol City as he wanted to stay what a lying two faced toerag.
(1) The vast majority of fans idolised Nicky Maynard
(2) He was offered a new contract that he refused to sign so much for wanting to stay.
(3) He wasn't put up for sale until he refused to sign a new contract
(4) Until he refused the contract almost every posting on all the football chat sites were pro Maynard.
So it all points to the fact Maynard thinks he's a little tin god and should be able to treat clubs and fans with distain because he has a little talent with a football.
Well from being a hero to most City fans I think he has now dropped to below zero and from what I have already seen and heard most fans hope he gets splinters sat on the WHU bench and WHU stay in the championship next year and Maynard spends the whole time on the bench perhaps it might reduce the size of his ego.
Has Maynard shown his true colours

I honestly am not sure if these comments are true/real, but i do find them a little strange to be honest.

Red Side the BBC sport Bristol City page has just been edited/updated a few days back on it Maynard was saying the fans at BCFC drove him away as he wanted to stay now it has his claims that things were being thrown at his family trouble is once a liar you don't know if any of this is true or if it's just trying to make him look good. We know that the fans were almost 100% behind wanting the board to keep him when the offers were comming in from the Foxes in the close season, even though Maynard had said he wasn't interested in them anyway, they could have accepted any of the offers and see if he changed his mind.
So that part of his sob story that the fans drove him out though he wanted to stay is an obvious lie the other comments about things being thrown at his family I cant comment on as I didn't see anything like that and I didn't see any Judas banners either but that wouldn't surprise me fans do get annoyed when someone who has spent quite a bit of time on high wages on the treatment table who tries to walk away from a club without them getting any payment back is going to get right up the nose of staunch supporters if Maynard can't see that then he's a bigger fool than he appears. He has some talent with a football most people agree but it seems to go to the heads of some more than others.
l11dsu4ever Having lived in Yorkshire for a while when I was young 12 months in a boarding school the term Pot calling the Kettle black comes to mind when thinking about accents about 50% of the yorkies spoke like they had a mouth full of Yorkshire puddin which made them very difficult to understand even more for the Londoners who were at the school than those of us from further west.

Leeds are obviously so delighted with their lucky lucky win, 12 men V 9 and they managed to finally break us in 80th minute.
Well done to them - the trouble is most teams they play will have 11 men on the pitch and won't gift them the opener on a plate.
We won that game for them - its embarrassing they are trying to take credit for it.
As for Maynard - no normal person condones abuse if what has been reported is true, but football is a very emotional business and players should respect the fans - after all its the fans hard earned pennies that buy their bentleys.

Still very bitter on here .... you lost (again) get over it.
12 v 9 - ah, so it's the ref to blame now? The rules of footie are that if your players don't abide by them, then they run the risk of being removed from the game.
You're currently sat in 20th - I take it every other team has been lucky and you gifted them games too ???

I wouldn't say every team has been lucky however as everyone knows for some reason when you are near the bottom of the league every 50/50 decision goes against you now which comes first the fact that the decisions are going against you drops you down the table or the fact that you are at the bottom so the decisions go against you I'm not too sure but if you look at Leeds Utd's recent history when they were dropping down tha table you will see what I mean.

Budgie ...... fair play matey .... elements of truth in what you're saying. when you're near the bottom and struggling to find form or wins, then the footie Gods seem to shiiiit on you even more.
We dropped down the leagues like a stone .... but that was more due to financial circumstances crippling us..... but i get the drift of what you're trying to say (i think!!).
Just do me a favour, try dropping in the odd comma or full stop now and again...... even south west keyboards have them too ......
