Oh dear!!!!

So does anyone want to offer any odds on Potter scoring a screamer for MK Dons against us next season to either win the game or rescue a point. Always seems to happen to us dont it???

Well at least Barry-Murphy didn't score against us

nah he won't get into their starting 11!

Potter could do well in the right team. He suffered the boo boy treatment so could be fired up & when he does score, they tend to be screamers.

I blame JOC for Potter having a bad time here, if we were a decent passing side like say Chezzie he would have been a decent player for us. He suffered a lack of confidence maybe coz of the fact we wasnt a good passing side, we had managers like Irvine and GM who are not lovers of the passing game. We just wasnt the right team for him and having a midfield partner like JOC wouldnt exactly fill the likes of Xavi or Gerrard with confidence either, I think Potter was unfortunate with us

After reviewing all last seasons games and putting the stats through the computer, I've decided to open book on this. For our first meeting:

Potter to score 'a screamer': 33/1

Potter to enter the Wednesday box and touch the ball: 50/1

Potter to make an unnatural number of sideways passes: Evens

Potter to make an epic pass which splits the defence (MK Dons defence only) then fails to move in the correct direction: Stopped taking bets.

I don't care what the odds are - he was rubbish for us, he's gone, I'm happy.

Would rather he left and scores against us than we keep him for another underperforming season.

Although Potter leaving was the right move, I would rather have kept Potter & released JOC than the other way round.

I too would rather have kept Potter if given a choice. Problem with both these two, and for that matter Teale and Sedgy, is that they are not match changers, whether in the starting 11 or on the bench. How many times last year did we need something a little different to try to turn a match around and yet when the subs were made we often got worse??

Thats what GM needs to find, guys who can adapt to a situation or can come on and make an impact if we are losing.

I agree with us needing to find a 'game changer' St. Charles. For a time I thought JJ may be the answer but he's too inconsistent and we ran out of ideas / options too easily.
