The title of this article refers to some of the comments I have read today following what was admittedly a less than satisfactory performance against a beatable team. Outrageous doesn't cover the majority of them, and it actually seems like some people have kept quiet and waited for this moment over the past few weeks which is sad.
Yes, I have been as negative as anyone on here in recent times but following the best run of points we've had for a while I thought it was obvious we had turned a corner and there was a lot more reason to be positive. And even following today's game there still is. Let's not forget that the reason we are all so disappointed is the fact that we felt positive for the game that we could get something which was brought about by the change in results and spirit which is down to Coyle.
Questions have been raised about today's substitutions. For what it's worth my opinion is that SKD should have been brought on but for N'Gog, not Muamba for 2 reasons - 1) you can't play 4-4-2 with Mavies in the centre as the guy can't defend, and 2) N'Gog is, IN MY OPINION, awful. This was a mistake by Coyle, but to call him a numpty, and naive is wrong. The guy has ditched what he believed to be true to lead us to 3 points at Everton, 3 versus Liverpool and what should have been 3 against Arsenal, how is that naive? He then used those same tactics and team that got us those points today and was massively let down by his players. For a reason I still don't understand, we were completely dominated in the middle of the park, the wingers were awful again, and Knight and Wheater did not have great games at all. We got battered in the first half, nothing changed at the start of the second and something needed to be changed. Owen changed it, and unfortunately it didn't pay off.
It would have done though had we had a good striker on to tap in to an open net instead of SKD and if we had got the penalty I mentioned earlier. Having said all that though Carrow Road is a very difficult place to go and has the best atmosphere in the league so losing to them is no embarrassment. Yes, we are back in the bottom three but Saturday sees the easiest game of the season so let's get behind the team and allow the men that turned over Liverpool and gave Arsenal a scare to go and get 3 points at home to easily the worst team in the league.
3 points on Saturday will see us out of the relegation zone again as Wolves got lucky today in that Cisse saved them from a good beating by getting sent off and they won't get many more points soon. Blackburn and Wigan look like broken teams and there is no way West Brom and Swansea are out of trouble yet.
There is so much left to play for this season and with our new signings, new tactics and new outlook the future is still just as bright as we all thought it and were all proclaiming it was 24 hours ago.
Is that what I sounded like??

I had so much respect for you Mallorca, then you admit to having an iPad! I'm afraid you're dead to me now!
Again though you're right about people coming on and saying "I told you so", although I can sympathise with them doing so considering the abuse that got leveled at those who continually backed Coyle through the tough period during October.
Like I say, I have no problem with people who want to have a vent after a defeat, but to take a recent example, Benny's "Coyle is a numpty" thread below wasn't venting, that was having a dig at Coyle.
The difference?
Rebel used to vent, however the next morning he'd also be able to have a reasoned debate and be able to make a balanced comment on the game.
Benny has just continued with his digs at Coyle. Which he wasn't doing after the previous four games. Because he was no where to be seen on here. Thats being deliberately confrontational in my opinion.

Just because I mentioned having an iPad, it's no reason to start suggesting Rebel can have reasoned debate!!!
You've gone too far this time!!

Surely the time for the ' I told you so's ' would be in May, if we survive in the Prem! Saying ' I told you so ' when we get 3-4 points is a bit premature, seeing as we were still in deep trouble at the time ..and having slipped back into the bottom 3 this weekend proves that fact!

Give him abit of credit, he's much better house trained than he was 6 months ago!

I don't disagree Firstof, and as such will be reserving my own "I told you so" until then!
However I can't blame those who took the worst abuse for having their small victory and moment in the sun.

Know what you mean ...but the Law of Averages would say we'd have to get a couple of consecutive ' heads ' at some point in the season, rather than a continuing run of ' tails '!
In fact - I look forward to getting copious amounts of stick from certain folk come May, because if I do, it will mean Bolton have survived in the Prem ...and that's far more important to me than takin' a bit of forum flak!

I couldn't agree more.
And I promise to keep the stick to a minimum!

Ah, y'see ...you Coylophiles have taken the easy option as usual If we stay up, you'll be largin' it on the forums ...but if we go down, all the rest of us will be too gutted to waste time telling yer ' we told you so '
It's a ' win win ' for you lads, either way!
