Some interesting figures the to say the least, personally i have had a hunch about zola for a few weeks now, no idea why but its just something that stuck in my mind.. so i thought a tenner at 33/1 was worth the punt...........Anything can happen, especially with bates as the puppet master.

The fact of getting rid of 5 managers in 7 years means
we're not a powerful club now in attracting the best
managers....if you look at serious candidates for the
job, most are out of work....if they had managers job
would we have wanted them?
If Warnock was still at QPR would we have tried to
prise him away? I dont think so.

Considering the only manager we know that has applied is Raddy Antic I don't get why there are no betting odds for him.

I rule out Robson and Bruce for two reasons
Robson has not managed in years, and according to Bates there has been a lot of interest in the position, I dont see why he would want him in if that is the case.
Bruce because he has a history of leaving as soon as someone waves cash at him, take a look at his managerial record. First chance a club with more money comes along he is off in a flash.
Bates wont risk that, espically when you look at how he got stung by Wise who did exactly that.

NJS, is that in the same way we are not a powerful club in attracting the best players too?
The mediocre manager that was Grayson got 3 years (sounds like a sentence, don't it?). I don't think a powerful personality will come in - they will demand too much money for themselves and for the squad for Bates to be able to agree it.

I think it's obvious that the club dont and cant attract
the best players available or managers...we try and
get mostly the ones that are easy to get...those out of
work and loans...the club has lost a lot of status and
kudos, which could guarantee at one time we could
attract the best available!

Solskjaer- HA, HA, HA, i did laugh, some of the names on that list are a joke hence the laughing.
Only about 4 I would want from the whole list, you could'nt make it up but someone has. LOL

Who the hell would put money on Gary Kelly. After the way Bates and his crony Wise treated him.
