ok for now I don't mind rival fans slating him because he has made more then a few mistakes but I have no doubt once he hits the gym and learns proper English he will become top class! Also hoping we get Javi Garcia in the summer so he has one more Spanish friend in the team.

Haven't really seen much of either of them but I've heard better feedback on Garcia. I'm sure Martinez is a great prospect as well!

martinez is fantastic and well worth the 30 million euro buyout in his contract, although i hear that thiago alcantara the barca sensation might also be available in the summer for around the same money and he could be better than xavi and iniesta

Dont think Thiago could play in a 4-4-2 and with his physique and young age would take time to adapt. Martinez is 6"3 and built like an ox, proper box to box midfielder.
