Suggests that no italian teams are in for Aquilani and his agent says he's on his way back to Liverpool.
Despite the fact he obviously doesn't want to be here, I'd love to see him back in a red shirt.
Do you think we're gonna buy any defenders, btw or just start with 10 midfielders and a keeper?

Other than cover for Johnson (Kelly at RB) for left back I don't think we need any defenders.

I dunno.. I think we definitely need a CB Carra and Agger aren't going to be fit the whole time.
I agree that if any player doesn't want to be at the club, then they should be shipped out, however I don't think he's really given it a proper shot - 26 games, not many of them completed - I think he should at least have a go for half a season and if it doesn't work out, he can go.

Where do people get the idea that he doesn't want to be here??
His AGENT said he'd prefer to stay in Italy, but Aquilani HIMSELF said he wouldn't mind "returning to the best league in the world"

I really enjoyed the way he played in Italy last season. The passing was very fluid and he pushed the ball forward at a fast tempo. One word of warning though, I believe he needs regular football to get the best from him. He will become dispirited if he's sitting on the bench every week. I'm not sure the squad can accomodate both Miereles and Aquaman.

Aggers Right Elbow (U3402)
Agreed. I like his style of play and i think it fits well with the way we should be looking to play. He'd dovetail perfectly with Suarez.
I'd sooner see him than Adam, tbh.

Aqualani will be eternally grateful now that he's back at a big club.
