Whose going to get 4th place in the

premiership, season 2011-12

Chelsea
Newcastle
Arsenal
Liverpool

or could a team come from the pack to pip all four teams. Whichever team comes through would have deserved it, although their season will be starting early with the CL qualifiers in early August. For the losers though, it will be Thursday night footie at best.

How will non-qualification affect their ability to attract the top players, and will they be able to hold on to their best players. Will for instance Chelsea be able to fend off the obvious bidding war for Torres, or will Liverpool have to commit to letting Andy Carrol leave, the clamour for Walcott at Arsenal will be immense?

The season has a lot to offer for the neutral and non partisan football supporter.

What are the odds on Norwich finishing in the top 4 in their first season in the PL, again?

We have blown hot and cold but we can't possibly still be in a honeymoon period. We have improved from last season and we have a decent chance of finishing in the top four this season. We are also in a cup final for the first time in five years and we have knocked out the favourites of another cup competition. So the players should be feeling very confident at the moment.

I see what you're saying Pony but the cups and league are totally different things. Your home form in the PL is average at best and you should not have lost 3-1 to Bolton even if it is a local derby. Spurs will have to play VERY hard to win tomorrow and I'm expecting a draw but somehow your team seems a little unsettled. No,ok,honeymoon is the wrong term.

Chelsea.

I don't think Mr Abramovich can count beyond two (except in millions). Who's the manager next season?

We're being overrated on this thread.

We're terrible.

Chelsea for fourth - quite comfortably for me too.

Drogba, Terry back - they should be okay.

4. Chelsea
5. Arsenal
6. Liverpool
7. Newcastle

"The Toon have slipped out of contention twice now and hauled themselves back. That is very important for when it gets to the real business end."

Told you, Andy.
