You gotta love Arsene Wenger!Yes he has messed up, big time but his track record and judgement on players is outstanding. No wonder why even as he makes some awful errors people who understand the game find it hard to question him.
The question was asked at the beginning of the season, why buy the Ox for 2 million less when Young a known arsenal fan was available and I think on Saturday we saw the reason why.
Some fools question why he held the Ox back, some even believe Jack should have been played earlier but all Arsene is doing is protecting them from the hype that has followed players like Theo.
I pray that Capello doesn’t take the Ox to the Euro’s, I also hope Jack doesn’t make it aswell. I look at signings like Vermalean and Kolcienley, and even though we have a blundering manager, I appreciate that he is one of the best managers in the game and we are very fortunate to have employed him.
When he does leave, I will remember the good times and I hope other Arsenal fans will do the same!
Oxlade Chamberlain vs Ashley Young

Saying Young is better than Chamberlain is like saying Hernandez is better than RVP
---------------------------------------------------------
I want to keep my feet firmly on the ground when it comes to the Ox, he looks special which is exciting and unlike most wingers he can play several positions.
Hernandes isn’t a bad player, its just that outside taking chances in the box he is so limited, like Dzeko.
Van Persie is special just like the Ox.Ashley young is sadly a one trick pony, he has ability in that right foot but will ner be world class.

Hernandez is better than RVP then I suppose. Strange of you to think that Fubo.

hes obviously not better than RVP,but you have to admit you would have him over Chamakh

He'd start for them Dave, with RVP behind and Arsenal would have a front 2 that's almost as good as Rooney and Hernandez.

I don't know if Hernandez is good enough to be a lone striker in our 4-3-3 formation.
The central striker needs to be able to do a lot more than sit in and around the penalty box and score poacher goals, whereas I'm not sure what else Hernandez does.

It works for Falcao at Atletico Madrid. 14 in 16 I think is his record now, and he is amazingly poor outside the box...

But can Falcao carry a team the way RVP does and account for the misses that Theo and Gervinho make?
Doubt it, Im a gooner and I have seen finer strikers than Robin.I even think Torres of Liverpool was better than him, but watching him recently makes you realise how special his allround game is.

Falcao has more to his game though. He's a big, strong guy, and can hold the ball up relatively well and play in others.
I think Hernandez would be hard pressed, in our particular set-up, as he'd get isolated. He's not a player who gets massively involved with the general build-up.

Falcao isn't big at all, he's about 5,10 and not the stockiest. It's his movement and positioning that gets him goals. He just waits and when the ball goes in to the 18 yard box, he's there. Chico plays as a lone striker for Mexico very often as well and scores loads for them.

Seriously, have you watched Falcao? He doesn't have ANYTHING to his game besides goalscoring, but he's a brilliant goalscorer. He never gts involved with build up play except for maybe to play a 5 -10 yard pass to a team mate away from the defense.
