54 years today a great tragedy struck as im sure most of you know.
Not only did manchester united loose possibly what could have been the greatest team ever, but many more associated with united lost their lives along with journo's and other innocent people.

Many died, Some survived and went on to have fantastic careers, others survived and were never the same again, but the spirit of Manchester United lived on.

United's flag is deepest red,
It shrouded all our Munich dead,
Before their limbs grew stiff and cold,
Their heart's blood dyed it's ev'ry fold.

Then raise United's banner high,
Beneath it's shade we'll live and die,
So keep the faith and never fear,
We'll keep the Red Flag flying here.
