Lambert 6/1

After drifting back out at the weekend, his odds are now as short as they've ever been.

Your average punter would think he was out of reach, and he's not been mentioned in the media.

The longer it takes to appoint a manager, the more likely it is to be someone in a job.

Something is going on.

If you think about it, all Paul Lambert has to do is match the job he did at Norwich and he could be top half of the Premier League with Leeds United next season.

I'm certainly not getting my hopes up, but if Ken Bates pulled it off he'd be sticking two fingers up to a lot of people in the best possible way.

Has a manager ever walked away from prem team to drop a level by choice?

I doubt there is any truth in it, somebody prob walked into the bookies and placed a huge bet, bringing the odds down

If someone put £50 on it will bring the odds down. Bookies are rightly worried about inside info, so any bets which are more than the norm, and they come down.

You calmed down since yesterday

Sorry just can't see this happening, no way, you can't just go by the bookies lads!

LIW.. yes correct, they have to make a profit so any big bets the odds have to come down in order for them to do so

of course I'm calm... you know me

I just cant see Lambert leaving a premiership club halfway through the job...it's not like KB will offer anyone megabucks. Why would Lambert drop down a division? Norridge are doing alright...

They're only a Premiership club because he made them one.

Why couldn't he do it with us?

25-1 now, by the way.

Agreed... as much as I like Lambert, its not happening imo... somebody must of lumped loads of money on it for the odds to have lowered that much
