Sure its been mentioned in related articles but I was really impressed with the lad last night. Although he has been well involved in the squad this year last night I feel wasn't just another appearance under his belt, it was a real performance.
Up against a decent Liverpool midfield, he not only held his own but was assured in procession and gave as good as he got against the likes of Gerrard and Adam! In my eyes I no longer see him as a 'weak link' to our squad and more of an assist! Always good to see an academy boy do well too!
