Kilby to resign at the end of this Season.

Barry Kilby has announced his resignation due to ongoing health issues. He will stay as Chairman until May.

No word yet on who will succeed him but I would assume Flood will take control.

Thoughts on the job Kilby has done and what might change with Flood or A.N.Other in charge ?

Just letting it sink in, been a good chairman and the Clarets owe him a huge thanks. Brought stability then growth all in all a good man.
Hope he is OK and the health issues get cleared up.

Spot on Ont's. The club was in troubled times when Kilby took over. He helped steer the club to the Premier League, which at one time seemed unthinkable. He is a Claret through and through, and I, along with most other Clarets fans I would imagine, would like to wish him all the very best for the future.
The way forward now is to appoint someone who, like Kilby, has the club's best interests at heart. UTC

I agree with all the BK comments. I used to work with him and his Father many years ago, so I can confirm that he (and his dad Roy) were/are 100% Claret.

As for the new Chairman, I am assuming it will be Flood which does not fill me with confidence. I guess his ongoing issues with his Bankers might make him think twice.

Anyway, its onwards and upwards. What better way for BK to bow out than by winning promotion !

I think he has been the most sensible chairman, not over stepped too much and let his managers get on with running the team. Had faith in them but replaced when they had left things go on too far far ie. Cotterill and Laws. Shows faith in the unknown Coyle and Eddie andd again lets them do their job.
I think he as shown that no one individual is bigger than BFC and that BFC is for Burnley.
Hope it wont be Flood, just wish we had some one that as the teams interests at heart and enough money to ride out the storms. Gets us to be a good Champs team that can get promotion, in time may even get two or three seasons in the Prem.
