Love it, love it (as Keegan would say!). Anyone seen the latest attempt by the Daily mail on Ajmal, the headline had me in stitches. Yet again nothing of substance except ajmals literal words in his broken English. As I said in another thread, Ajmal has been misinterpreted because of his poor English.
The daily Fail is a rag paper. Cheap tacky right wing feeding nonsensical toilet paper tripe. Easily sold to such lamebrain readers who haven’t the foggiest idea what reality is…. Don’t expect the Daily Fail or its moronic and snake-like readers to understand the crust of the argument here as pointed out by the ICC and PCB today . They are only interested in trash and cheap-shots to justify their point of view.
PCB and ICC = Saeed Ajmal was referring to the angle of elbow abduction i.e. the angle of the upper arm to the forearm and not the degree of elbow extension. This angle is approximately 23 degrees in Saeed’s case. There is a big difference between the “elbow carry angle" (elbow abduction) and the degree of elbow extension. There is nothing preventing a bowler bowling with a bent arm, provided he does not straighten it beyond the permitted degrees of tolerance

Kash, no point in getting involved in this arguement any longer- its obvious. The one or two posters on here who repeat the same old rubbish haven't offered anything of relevance or reliable to support thier sheepish view on the matter. They don't understand the rules kash..... Sour grapes mate, nothing else.
Well said testmatch.

Whats the political persuasion of a daily newspaper got to do with a cheating cricketer?

TBH, expected it from the daily mail. They need another Pak player to jump at, since Amir, Asif, Butt. Also, to take Englands failure out of the spotlight

Apparently he has a naturally bent arm. Is there anyone born in the subcontinent who actually has straight arms?

Only the ones who can't bowl the doosrah

Whilst I am a sceptic with regards to Ajmal's doosra, I also cannot abide the Daily Mail.
By right wing you could also read in xenophobic, homophobic and isolationist.
Garbage of the lowest order.

Its funny how former players get mentioned on this debate...what exactly have they got to do with ajmal? its totally irrelevent. anyway its obvious the pakistan supporters will get behind their chucker, i mean man, he's their only reason they won.
as a voice of reason its obvious from the naked eye and its common cricket knowledge (or advance cricket knowledge judging by some on here) that a finger spinning doosra is illegal. Just by looking at him his arm is bent while bowling the doosra and he covers it up by wearing a long sleeve shirt. tests in the past will probably have been done on his off spin, your not exactly going to bend your arm for that are you?
Anyway england must be congratulated for keeping their opinions to themselves to avoid confrontation, im sure it will all be out in their autobiography soon.
