Hello Geordies, how are you all this fine day?
I watched with dismay when Chris Hughton was relieved of his position and felt strongly that Mike Ashley had got it wrong. When he brought Pardew in I was shocked, wondering, is he actually better than what you let go of and I will admit, I got it so wrong.
Pardew has done a fantastic job at the club in spite of losing 2 important players and added some great, astute signings in Cabaye and the two Dembas.
He doesn’t get enough praise for what he’s done and I just wanted to say I’m very impressed with him and you guys look to be on the up. A lot of people thought you would fall away but you haven’t and you are looking good for a top 6 finish.
What is even more amazing is that he achieved this on a shoestring budget whilst generating massive funds for the club by getting rid of its top striker and replacing him with one who actually scores goals. Your approach to games has been terrific at times, especially the way you put us to the sword at St James’. No one is calling Pardew a King or giving him the credit he deserves.
Two of the players who left your club moved because they thought they would get European football and that may not happen and I believe you will finish ahead of the club they joined as well. I wonder what Pardew would have done if he had spent well over £100m. He would be challenging the top 4 unlike some who are struggling hard to keep Stoke at bay.
So in conclusion, your manager has done a great job and should be praised and I would really like to know what Enrique and Carroll are thinking now. I also wonder what the owners of LFC are thinking watching their 100m+ investment look average next to your quality team.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

maybe so, and well done for that, but do you think pardew deserves the england managers position based on half a decent season with you guys?

well its been spoken of a lot about the next manager being English, excluding 'Arry "ill sell you a nice knock off leather jacket down ya local pub" Redknapp, who else has done anything of note? you can throw a lot of names around that have not really achieved anything recently.

Yep, besides Redknapp, the candidates really are very mediocre.
On a world/ European scale, even Redknapp has no real credibility.

Thanks dave
one thing to think about as well is typically with our national side we overate ourselves, we have had top managers, some of the best in europe at the time of appointment, its not really the quality of the manager that is important its the quality of the players and we are just not good enough at the moment. i think the likes or pardew and redknapp are the sort who can get a job done with what they have available, some of the so called successful managers have had a lot of money to work with and the best players in the world in their teams
