Not about Leicester I know, but certainly worth discussing.
Very surprised to be honest. Expected Bernstein to just give him a slap on the wrist. Can't say I'm disappointed though.
Almost certainly I'd expect there to be an Englishman appointed. With the Redknapp verdict earlier today, it makes tie easier for the FA to go down that route and he is the outstanding candidate and probably the only Englishman who I would be truly delighted to get. Realistically, I'm not sure that Redknapp would leave Spurs full time until the end of the season so I would guess that either Haryy does both until the summer and then becomes full time England manager or someone like Stuart Pearce is named interim manager for the Euro's and then we get a permanent manager (probably Redknapp) after that.
Mourinho is leaving Madrid in the summer and Hiddink has also said he's interested. Wouldn't mind them but I think the FA will go English.
Who do you want as the next England manager though? And does it matter if they're English?
Vote:
1 for Redknapp
2 for Pearce as interim and then consider in the summer
3 for Mourinho
4 for Hiddink
5 for Other (e.g. Hodgson, Pardew etc.)

McLovin - Was he really treated that badly though. I know Fabio is old school and thinks the manager should have the final say etc.
However, in the contract he signed, it stated that the FA still have final say when it comes to selection matters and can intervene. Although I would agree that they should have told him they were stripping Terry before hand, he should have dealt with it in-house before having a rant on Italian TV.

I would have assumed it would be the FA discussing this with Cappello before going public themselves, not the other way round and totally understand why Cappello went ape regarding the treatment of an innocent man!

There is only one. It must be Redknapp. The only decision is whether to offer him the job starting now or let Stuart Pearce handle the Euros and offer him the job starting in July.

Redknapp is a very good choice , although it might be bit challenging for him ! He might even have to write team sheets...might get confusing.....let's just hope that bonus for second round exit to ukraine will not be deposit in some dodgy bank....

Alex Tia, he took a pretty cr4p south Korea team to 4th in world cup 2002, a pretty average Russia team to 3rd at Euro 2008 and I remember him doing a pretty good job at Chelsea a couple of years back. So if Arry didn't fancy the England job for whatever reason, hiddink would be my next choice

I would happily accept 1, 2 or 3 (3 being the most exciting / interesting) but my primary concern is seeing some fresh changes to the squad, the 'old guard' (with the exception of gerrard) had their chance and majorly blew it. It should be an honour to play for england, not a given and the players should perform like that.
Kyle Walker was given MOTM on his England debut in the last England game - says it all, and we all saw how good Scott Parker was in midfield, but none of these players were even considered for the world cup because of Capello's old-guard-tinted-glasses.
He clearly has a thing for J Terry too, yet the man is a disgrace on so many levels and his footballing ability on an international scale is not much better.
So thanks for resigning capello, we might have a chance of getting somewhere now.

We will still never win a major tournament.

Don't think we can when we're competing against the likes of Spain / Holland / Germany at the minute but we have a chance of reaching Semi's in the Euro with the RIGHT squad and formation. Or even if we can't manage that, there's a chance we dont have to embarass ourselves.
