With an all out assault next season on the title and the CL, the new manager would indeed be more than happy to take over the reigns from Harry to guide Spurs through what is looking increasingly likely to be the start of a trophy laden journey.

With the opposition, Man City and Man United apart, faltering badly, the way is clear for any new manager to become a legend.

The job of Spurs manager has never been such a much sought after prize for many a year.
